In order to create a Dynapage Web project, you need to have access to connect to
a Microsoft SQL Server database, either locally or remotely.
When you startup the Dynapage development environment, you have the option to
either open an existing project that was creates, or create a new project.
To create a new project, you will need to fill in the Project name, a short
description, the SQL Server database you wish to connect to, then click the
Fill button, and it will populate the database drop-down list with the
available databases you can connect to.You can also type in a user name and
password if required.
The web directory location is automatically created for you during the setup
process, so later in the project you can preview your project against the live
data in the database.
To open an existing project, click in the Existing tab, on the top of the
window, and this will give you a list of the available project solution files
you can open. see below:
